Looking into the Eyes of Heaven

A chilly night, half asleep I feel…

Angel dust? See it, don’t believe it

Analytically, yet there they are,

Brilliant white wings fluttering sparkles

As draft seeps in under the covers,

Real sparks of warmth along the edges.

Suddenly all my senses perceive

Everything’s made of angel dust

Unified structure pre-established,

Electromagnetic energy.

My beloved arms surrounding me.

In sound of a wood box lid closing,

The white doves landing on water’s edge.

Mesmerizing breeze lifting feathers

Interpreted poetically

Ionic particles inspire

The analogical metaphor.

Add analysis and empathy

Stir for knowledge and understanding.

Healthy Wealthy and Wise – Real Riches

Ultimately health depends on wealth. The improper distribution of resources to those that get without giving (eg. cancer ever-elusive cure business instead of investing in something of real value, or bankers who borrow money from 4% savers to compound astronomical interest for doing nothing much), leaves it to the people at the bottom to come up with survival innovation. They have to be very resourceful to come up with solutions that make the most out of the least.

To begin without knowing what the outcome will be, not because it seems like a good idea for a funding proposal but because circumstance of life requires an investment in lasting value, a person must be bold. Afterall stability and the real riches of society depends on their success. Either that or on never ending profit margin growth; one or the other.

Bio-identical or Botox?

Better than Botox Anti Wrinkle Skin Care?

Bit of an oxymoron don’t you think – ‘nerve numbing’ ’skin care’? Check the ingredients on your face cream. Chances are the list includes botox-like chemical, nano, bio-identical or weaker genetically modified derivatives, if all ingredients aren’t 100% certified organically grown. If you’re unsure, check with your doctor; be aware of any bias if they’ve been trained under the auspices of companies who produce nerve numbing skin care products.

The botox ‘like’ synthetic amino peptide, acetyl hexapeptide, found in bio-identical anti-aging creams, blocks the brain/face connection, for example. Other than that it’s non-toxic. It doesn’t destroy the neuro-transmitters as botox does, however it prevents the release of neuro-transmitters (so wrinkles seem to disappear).

Does it really matter as long as some of the ingredients in your skin care products are natural, or were once natural, or are identical to natural? Afterall even plastic is carbon-based like a living organism? It only matters doesn’t it if it’s absorbed into the blood stream, and into the heart, brain and reproductive organs. Then it’s a numb-brainer, isn’t it? Literally!

External appearance without the internal experience, means outdated 1950’s superficiality that we left behind in the 1960’s has somehow re-emerged in the 21st century. Prudence begs the question of what value better-than-botox products have on long term health neurologically. Why not err on the side of safety and ask your natural health professional or your local health food store for products that are clean?

I’ve recently discovered a totally cool skin care line called Miessence. Observed results are remarkable even relative to other products that contain all organically grown ingredients, especially when combined with the Body’Fit Life exercise routine. Adrenaline released during exercise usually constricts blood vessels around the mouth and nose where aging shows, even while sweat is dilating vessels in the rest of the face. The only option is to maintain circulation of nutrients in the skin by transforming the action of adrenaline from constriction to dilation of blood vessels during exercise. Body’Fit Life changes the action of adrenaline from constriction to dilation of all blood vessels. This is how Body’Fit Life achieves skin tone and rejuvenation without surgery or manipulated molecules.
A couple of my favorite Miessence products are their Soothing Moisturizer and Lemon Myrtle Shampoo. Most moisturizers are soothing, right? I didn’t comprehend the possibilities of soothing smoothness until I touched my face with this moisturizer. And the shampoo put the zig back into my natural curly hair. I now understand why the skin, as the body’s largest organ, is such a significant player in our immune system health.

The release of stress was palatable. I really got that this isn’t about a utopian ideal of paradise on earth… it’s about long term survivial stratagy in the face of the incredibly complex imbalances we will have to live under for years to come.

Healthy Convenient Microwave Oven Cooking?

Don’t you just love the fragrance and taste of raw snowpeas, radishes, carrots, or tomatoes picked fresh from an organically grown garden on a summer’s day? Nature’s fast food is probably even faster than popping a frozen dinner into the microwave. Of course not everybody has a patio or window box where they can grow their own vegetables and/or herbs, but it sure is a treat if you’re so inclined, isn’t it?

Fresh vegetables steam heated and crunchy hit the spot, or hot and spicy sauteed lightly for a couple of minutes to make your mouth water. Nutritional value not quite as high as raw food, is it, but still reasonable for putting pepper in your step. Compared to microwaving.

Not quite as fast as the microwave? Microwaving is fast. How fast? Imagine a blade rotating a billion times a second, now times that by a hundred. Nothing could withstand that kind of cutting power! Technically produced microwaves are based on the principle of alternating current so the molecules reverse polarity; in fact, it rotates the molecules 1-100 billion times a second. Structures of molecules are torn apart and deformed. And that’s something even cooking food conventionally till all the nutrients are turned to mush can’t do, can it? Wonder what the molecules look like under an electron microscope? Bon apetite!

To detoxify, try this.

Jekyll and Hyde Food Formaldehyde?

Warning: Formaldehyde is a toxic substance. The handling and preparation of solutions of formaldehyde should be carried out in a fume cupboard and skin contact with formaldehyde solutions or inhalation of formaldehyde vapour should be avoided.

I’m familiar with formaldeyde from my early days in the university cadaver lab. That was one of the main uses of formaldeyde back then, but as the chemical industry has gained weight (about a billion pounds a year) so has it’s need to eliminate the surplus. Even with the dangers of formaldeyde becoming increasingly known, food producers are coming under increasing sales pressure. By the way, have you checked the taste and smell of your olive oil and brewed vinagar lately? I have found several popular brands of even certified organic oils and apple cider vinagar to be sabotaged somewhere along the chain of supply.

It puzzles me how poisoning people with formaldeyde (disguised with many psuedo names, formalin, formic aldehyde, methylene oxide, oxamethane, paraform to name a few) can be justified under any circumstance. I don’t know which is more nauseating, making obscene amounts of money at the expense of the health of the general population or the actual formaldehyde in food. Ill health through slow poisoning and painful torture, but it’s still murder is it not? Unintentional? What do you think…

In the end living a lie, even one that you believe yourself, doesn’t meet our need for honor. Fame is avoided under such circumstance, certainly, except to fuel deception. How often have we seen the real nature of chemical and genetically modified synthetics cloaked in words like: advice you can trust – natural – bioidentical? Ever notice how synthetics companies weasel themselves in thru links to hide behind otherwise wholistic sites? Their specialty; recruiting well meaning unsuspecting people who are well connected in the community. Visit Organic Consumers for more corporate tactics. The industry has even formed a council to rectify their honour, saying their mission is, “To encourage accurate scientific evaluation of formaldehyde and formaldehyde-based materials and to communicate sound scientific information relating to the uses, benefits and sustainability of these products”. We’re looking at the back water of deceit and payola. But what else do the producers of formaldehyde have to count on? We all deserve financial independence, however quality of life requires four cardinal needs in equal proportion: wealth, honor, fame and influence.

Chilling isn’t it, perfecting the art of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde would be almost funny in light of this, if it wasn’t life threatening.

Toxic or Optic: Recollections

What we tend to loose sight of is that every cell in our body is continually repairing and rebuilding itself (and it’s our choice whether it’s at a slower or faster rate). It will always rebuild itself in the direction of optimal health if provided with the ‘right stuff’. It will even attempt to repair and rebuild itself when given poor raw materials, in which case it will build a weaker cell with reduced viability regarding functionality, and leads to health degeneration.

Now the discussion as to whether giving the body anything as long as it will appear to tolerate it at least temporarily despite side effects, is or is not technically aiding toxicity is a bit of an optical illusion, if you will. It depends on whether you see optimal health as the goal, doesn’t it? If our vision of old age is a 20 year or longer process of degeneration, than it doesn’t matter if you feed it weaker genetically modified foods, synthetics, and chemicals of every description. From this perspective, as long as something’s not a registered poison, it isn’t considered ‘toxic’. On the other hand if your goal is to regenerate the body towards peak viability and functionality until it’s your time to expire (suddenly like animals do in nature, not slowly and painfully), then it makes sense that you would view anything that doesn’t contribute to that, as toxic.

Early in life I chose to trust my intuitive instinct about what was a good fit for my body. Who would have thought that ‘perspective’ would determine the very essence of ‘quality of life’ that goes beyond ’standard of living’?

Synthetic GM Crops – Health Hazard?

Health or Health Hazard?

GM Crops and Microbes for Health or Public Health Hazards?: “Food crops genetically modified to overproduce single nutrients could be a public health hazard as overdose of many single nutritional factors are known to be toxic.

In the guise of nutritional benefits and health foods, products like genetically modified gut bacteria that could turn them into pathogens pre-adapted to invade the human gut. A lot of work involving genetic modification is in progress, targeting every aspect of nutrition and health.” (adapted from Institute of Science in Society Press Release)

Although the in-exact science of manipulation and modification of genetic material in order to produce the weaker GM organisms that have unusual and often unpredictable characteristics, may perpetuate the imbalance in distribution of resources to pharmaceutical and chemical industries… the question is does it work? I mean we can manipulate genes in the name of health till the cows come home, but it doesn’t mean it won’t over time contaminate the entire food chain and consequently destroy us as a species despite calling a spade, a rake.

Instead of raking our inheritance of genes over the coals, Body’Fit Life proposes that if we want to survive, we will need to arrange our economic system to work within the pre-established pattern for a body fit life… ie. there’s a reason for what’s evolved here. Rather than disrupting the balance of the natural world, Body’Fit Life puts it’s energy into supporting, restoring and protecting that balance, with the perfect pre-established pattern of the human body as the template.

Stop Using SLS, Stop Hair Loss

As I was walking down the street one day, I noticed how the scalp was showing through the thinning hair of a woman about my age. She seemed otherwise relatively fit and healthy. The thought that came to me was “Stop the SLS, if you want to stop loosing your hair’”.

That’s what I did. Now that I’m 50-something my hair is thicker and more luxurious than it’s ever been, probably since I was a child. It happened about 10 years ago. I had been experiencing hair lossr since my mid 30’s and couldn’t figure out what was wrong. I thought I had healthy hair, afterall the shampoo I was using was 80% Organic Aloe Vera. But… the shampoo also contained the ingredient common in most hair and skin care products at that time, and still is in many commercial products – SLS or Sodium Lauryl Sulfate.

You’d think that you would be taking every precaution to avoid harmful ingredients in your shanpoo if you purchase a brand from a health foods store, wouldn’t you? Not so with the ingredient sodium lauryl/laureth sulfate (SLS). As I mentioned the shampoo that I used for many years contained 80% aloe vera, and also contained SLS.

You’d think that since the word is out, the precaution would be taken by manufacturers to remove the ingredient, right? Think again, and check the ingredients in your shampoo… and your toothpaste too. (Yup!)

I now wash my hair with natural vinegar, it disinfects as it cleans and leaves my hair bouncy and shiny without completely stripping it of it’s natural oils so I never have a problem with dry split ends either. Read your shampoo labels and live the Body’Fit Life, that’s what I do.

Can’t Have Good Health Without Good Vision

I was just reading some blogs on WordPress.com under the ‘healthy’ tag.  One blog was a song sung to row, row your boat to teach children to go to the doctor if they wanted to be healthy.  Another blog was for adult with vision, that in order to healthy they needed to focus and fix – fresh air, clean water, nutritious food, optimal nutrition, exercise, etc.

I suddenly occured to me, that’s right you can’t have good health without good vision.  And worse yet if you expect someone else to fix your health, you won’t even begin to envision living a healthier life of what that really means in terms of personal responsibility for one’s own actions.  Lack of a health consciousness is perhaps why in the 21st century entire nations have not come to grips with the essence of health.  Can’t develop good habits without getting into the right mind set first, can you?

Which reminds me, I need to do my eye exercises…
